Sexualita a intimita v závěru života

Jan Chrastina, Naděžda Špatenková

The purpose of the publication was to provide a holistic, interpretative and sometimes 'slightly critical' view of the central topic - sexuality and intimacy at the end of life. In terms of methodology, the publication was processed as a monograph. The authors used analytical and synthetic procedures, induction and deduction, as well as interpretations of content analyses of applicable resources (especially foreign scientific studies, etc.). Another approach was a qualitative pilot study using unfinished sentences, literary review and qualitative focus groups, and the application of the authors' professional experience. The present publication emphasises the fact that sexual and intimate needs are an integral part of every human being, regardless of the person’s life and social situation, relationships, and health/illness.
