Vyšetření ramenního kloubu magnetickou rezonancí

s podrobným popisem nálezů u omezení pohybů a u bolestivých stavů ramene

Boris Pauček, David Smékal

The publication Magnetic Resonance Examination of the Shoulder Joint – with a detailed description of the findings in the event of limited movement and shoulder pain is intended for a wide range of experts in the fields of radiodiagnostics, physiotherapy and orthopaedics. Within the framework of interdisciplinary cooperation, the structural changes in the event of shoulder joint damage are comprehensively discussed. The publication deals with the detailed imaging of the soft-tissue and skeletal structures of the shoulder joint by means of magnetic resonance examination (MR). The first part of the book discusses aspects of the normal anatomy of the shoulder joint in magnetic resonance imaging, along with an explanation of the principles and benefits of indirect MR arthography of the shoulder joint. In this part of the publication, the aspects of differential diagnosis of disorders of the functioning of the shoulder joint and physiotherapeutic approaches to disorders of the shoulder girdle are discussed. The special part of the book discusses in detail the lesions of the shoulder structures and their imaging and diagnosis in magnetic resonance examination, with detailed analyses of the types of rotator cuff lesions, comprehensive diagnosis of labrum damage, issues connected with the impingement and instability of the shoulder joint and inflammatory, post-traumatic and post-operative changes of the shoulder joint. In the special part, the descriptions of the findings are slightly more extensive, sometimes with a short anamnesis, in order to achieve a correct overall interpretation of the magnetic resonance images. In the atlas part of the book, examples of the most common lesions of the shoulder joint encountered in the daily practice of magnetic resonance examination are presented in alphabetical order.
