In the publication, we have collected contributions reflecting the views, attitudes, and experiences of experts, from academia and practice, on joint education. The given topic became the central theme of the V. Olomouc specialpedagogicaldays conference. The experience of individual authors is based not only on their experience in Czech Republic but they also share their knowledge from the different countries in which they worked or are working. We tried to unify the seemingly disparate set of individual research studies and projects where the authors focus on the theory and practice of joint education, find enrichment in foreign experience, accentuating legislative amendments, preparedness of teachers, pupils, parents and school advising facilities, specifics of individual target groups.
