Hraní digitálních her českými adolescenty

Jaroslava Suchá, Martin Dolejš, Helena Pipová, Eva Maierová, Panajotis Cakirpaloglu

The world of games has changed dramatically with the evolution of technology and has acquired a new form. In this book, readers will have opportunity to investigate this "game world". Playing digital games develops some aspects of a person, on the other hand, the games can bring even shady sites. One of the serious negative manifestations can be an Internet Gaming Disorder, which is demonstrated e.g. by the loss of interests, social contacts, or inability to control gaming. In the monograph are characterized criteria for Internet Gaming Disorder as are defined in the DSM-5. Based on these criteria was detected a prevalence 3.7 % for this disorder in czech adolescents between aged 11 to 19. The book also presents other important findings about czech adolescents and digital gaming.
