Wh-Questions

A Case study in Czech

Ludmila Veselovská


Monografie popisuje a analyzuje zjišťovací otázky v češtiněm se zaměřením na přímé otázky. Předkládá důkazy o tom, že české Wh struktury jsou srovnatelné s jinými (konkrétní příklady jsou zpravidla v dalších slovanských jazycích a v angličtině). Vlastní analýza ukazuje typologické charakteristiky češtiny s ohledem na vlastnosti diskutované v dnešní literatuře: mezivětný posun, mnohonásobné otázky, hierarchie tázacích výrazů a další. Při popisu jsou pro argumentaci použita také data z českého národního korpusu a soubor příkladů z korpusu je také součástí appendixu. Edice: Olomouc Modern Lanugage Monographs.
